Symptom (s): 13-Hour Driving Limit Violation:

The driver receives a 13-hour driving violation after driving for more than 13 hours in the 14-16 hour shift. (As drivers can extend their 14-hour shift to 16 hours by taking 2 hours off duty during their 14-hour shift in Canada).

    Cause:

More than 13 hours of cumulative drive time in a 14-hour shift.

    Solution:

Drivers can avoid this violation in the future by staying within the 13-hour driving limit and keeping a check on their clocks while staying connected to their vehicles. Moreover, the drivers can also set up notifications from the app settings to give them reminders if they are approaching a violation as well.
