Symptoms
Personal Conveyance automatically turns off on motive driver app once the vehicle stops.
Cause
Once the vehicle is stopped or pulled over, the motive driver app automatically turns off personal conveyance mode, and duty status is updated as OFF DUTY after 6 minutes. if the driver starts driving after 6 minutes it will automatically update the driver's status to on duty, driving.
Solution
If the vehicle is parked for over 6 minutes the drivers need to make sure they have engaged personal conveyance on the motive driver app before they start driving as ELD recorded driving events cannot be changed to off duty (PC) as per the HOS regulations.
