Introduction
Fleet Admins/Managers can add merchants to a blocked location list for restricting spend from happening at locations where they observe higher fuel spend than at other nearby locations.
The merchant blocking feature will improve the spending management for the fleets on both fleet and spend profile levels. This feature will help Fleet managers redirect spending from specific merchants where they observe higher fuel prices than nearby merchants.

How to block merchant locations on the fleet level
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and select the Admin icon.
2. Select Cards.
3. Select Configuration.
4. Click Manage option in the Merchant Controls section.
5. A list of blocked locations appears. To add a new location click Manage on the top right-hand side.
6. Click +Add to add a location in the blocklist.
7. Type the name of the location you want to block and search for it.
8. Select Block.
9. Select Save.
10. You will receive a notification that the changes have been saved.
How to block merchant location on the spend profile level
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and select the Admin icon.
2. Select Cards.
3. Select Configuration.
4. Select a profile and click Edit in the Spend Profiles section.
5. Select Blocked Locations in the Merchant Controls section.
6. Click +Add to add a location in the blocklist.
7. Type the name of the location you want to block and search for it.
8. Select Block.
9. Select Done.
10. The location will be blocked for your spend profile.
How to block merchant locations through the Transactions page
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and select Cards.
2. Select Transactions.
3. Select a transaction.
4. Click Block this location.
5. You can block the location for the spend profile associated with this card or for all cards. Choosing the spend profile option will add this location to blocked location list for that spend profile and choosing the “All cards” option will add this location to the fleet-wide blocked locations list.
6. Select Confirm after making the selection.
How to unblock merchant locations on the fleet level
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and select the Admin icon.
2. Select Cards.
3. Select Configuration.
4. Click Manage option in the Merchant Controls section.
5. You will see a list of blocked locations. Either select Unblock to unblock a location or click on the location in the fleet view and select Unblock this location.
6. Select Save.
7. You will receive a notification that changes have been saved.
How to remove merchant locations on the spend profile level
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and select the Admin icon.
2. Select Cards.
3. Select Configuration.
4. Select a profile and click Edit in the Spend Profiles section.
5. Select Blocked Locations in the Merchant Controls section.
6. You will see a list of blocked locations. Either select Unblock to unblock a location or click on the location in the fleet view and select Unblock this location.
7. Select Done.
