The Cables 3044 and 4020 in Hardwired Vehicle Gateway mode provide the following tracking capabilities:
1. Supported Features (When VG is powered only through secondary source):
- Basic tracking functionality for VG
- Camera recording
- Camera captures driver events
- Video recall
- Hyperlapse
2. Not Supported Features (When VG is powered only through secondary source):
- Motion DPE/hard brake, acceleration, cornering alerts
- AI DPE features for the camera
- IFTA + Maintenance tracking
- Idling monitoring
- Compliance features
| Note: All supported features are active when the vehicle is in motion; however, VG and DC stop after a period of inactivity. |
