Introduction
Once a transaction is made against a Motive Card, a Fleet Admin can edit the vehicle ID, odometer reading, and custom field against a transaction, if these metadata fields are enabled for the fleet. This can be done using Fleet Dashboard.
Steps: Editing the vehicle ID, odometer reading, and custom field in transaction details on the Fleet Dashboard
Steps: Edit Vehicle ID
1. Log in to Fleet Dashboard and click Cards.
2. Click on the transaction you want to edit.
3. Scroll down on the Transaction Details screen and click on the Edit icon next to Vehicle ID.
4. Search for the right Vehicle ID.
5. Click Assign.
Steps: Edit Odometer Reading
1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 from the section above.
2. Scroll down on the Transaction Details screen
3. Click on the Edit icon next to Odometer Reading.
4. Change the readings in the field.
5. Click on the unit dropdown to select one of your choice (mi/km).
6. Click Done when you are done making changes.
Steps: Edit Custom Field
1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 from the first section.
2. Scroll down on the Transaction Details screen and click on Edit icon next to Custom Field.3. Edit the custom field.
4. Click Done.
5. If the custom field is a free text field, change the input and hit Done.
