Symptom
Yard Move turn off automatically when driver stops the vehicle.
Cause
Once the vehicle is stopped or pulled over, the Motive Driver App automatically turns off Yard Move, and duty status is updated as On Duty after 6 minutes if the vehicle is left idle . If the driver starts driving after 6 minutes it will automatically update the driver's status to On Duty or Driving.
Solution
If the vehicle is parked for over 6 minutes, the driver needs to make sure they have engaged Yard Move on the Motive Driver app before they start driving, as ELD recorded driving events cannot be changed to On Duty (YM) as per HOS regulations. Details are mentioned here
