    LEDs ON after the Vehicle Gateway is unplugged

    Symptoms:

    • Vehicle Gateway LEDs stay on after VG is unplugged from Cable / Vehicle.

     

    Cause

    Unknown

     

    Solution

    1. Ensure the Vehicle Gateway is removed from the vehicle for more than 2 minutes. 
    2. Connect the Vehicle Gateway and cable to the vehicle again. 
    3. After 2 minutes, the LED lights turn GREEN and RED. You can now remove the Vehicle Gateway from your vehicle. 
    Note: If the lights don't turn on after connecting with the vehicle or turn ORANGE, contact Motive Support.
