Introduction
The Motive Engine Immobilizer enables Fleet Managers to enhance vehicle security and reduce the risk of theft. It enables users to control the immobilizer directly from the Fleet Dashboard.
| Note: You must have a Vehicle Gateway bundle or already possess a Vehicle Gateway to acquire an engine immobilizer. |
Steps: Immobilizing vehicles via the Fleet Dashboard
Enable vehicle immobilization
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click Fleet View in the left-hand side menu.
2. Select the Live tab and click the Vehicle you need to make changes for.
3. Click Edit.
4. Click Immobilize.
5. A pop-up appears click Immobilize.
Enable vehicle mobilization
1. Click Mobilize.
2. A pop-up appears, click Mobilize.
