Introduction
The Motive Engine Immobilizer provides an effective solution for preventing vehicle theft. Fleet customers easily assign immobilizers to vehicles using the Fleet Dashboard on a mobile browser.
Note: You must have a Vehicle Gateway bundle or already possess a Vehicle Gateway to acquire an engine immobilizer. |
Steps:

1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.
2. Click Vehicles from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Click Options in the Action column for the vehicle you want to edit.
4. Click Edit Vehicle from the dropdown.
5. Click Assign Engine Immobilizer.
6. From the list, select the checkbox of the Engine Immobilizer you want to assign.
7. Click Assign.
Enable vehicle immobilization
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard through the Mobile Browser App. and click Fleet View in the left-hand side menu.
2. Click Vehicles.
3. Find the vehicle from the list, tap the three dots icon, and select View Profile.
4. Click Immobilize.
5. Tap Immobilize.
6. If the engine is running, a Pending Immobilization prompt will appear on the Vehicle Profile.
7. Once the engine is off, the immobilization process will be completed, and an Immobilized prompt will appear on the Vehicle Profile.
8. Click Mobilize.
