Release Date
This feature is in beta phase and is going to launch on August 19th, 2024. If you need this feature enabled soon, please reach out to Motive support.
Introduction
The Face Match feature is now compatible with unregulated vehicles. Fleet managers can directly view AI assigned or AI identified trips for unregulated vehicles in the Fleet Dashboard.
Note: Previously, Fleet managers used to designate vehicles like pickup trucks and SUVs (weighing less than 10,000 lbs) as regulated to use the Face Match feature. |
Support Face Match on unregulated vehicles Overview
- The fleet manager creates an unregulated vehicle profile or the driver switches to one.
- The driver operates the unregulated vehicle while being disconnected from the Vehicle Gateway.
- The fleet admin or fleet manager can view and filter trips in the Trips section of the Motive Fleet Dashboard. If the Driver profile is identified in the Face Match, it is labeled as AI Assigned and if the Driver profile is unfamiliar or automatic trip assignment is disabled in the Face Match, it is labeled as AI identified.
Note: Non AI assigned labels, such as driver connected and manually assigned, are currently not supported for unregulated vehicles. They are going to be addressed in a future enhancement project. |
