How to review and update submitted Timecards

    Introduction

    Motive enables the Drivers and Fleet Managers to efficiently review and update submitted Timecards to ensure accurate and updated records.

     

    Steps: Reviewing and updating submitted Timecards

     

    Review and update submitted Timecards from the Driver App

    To review previously submitted Timecards as a Driver, follow the steps in How to submit a Timecard from Driver App

     

    Review and update submitted Timecards from the Fleet Dashboard

    To review previously submitted Timecards as a Fleet Manager or Fleet Admin, follow the steps mentioned below:

    1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Workforce in the left-hand side menu.

    2. Click Timecards.

    3. A list of all the Timecards is displayed. You can filter these by Date, Driver, and Status.

    4. Apply filters, such as Status as Submitted and Date Range as last 7 days, or any other filters of your preference. The relevant entries appear on the screen.

     

     

    5. Click any Timecard.

    6. Review the entries by comparing the Driver's clock-in times with their trip details on the map below the Timecard entries.

    7. View all Timecard entries on the map for quick verification.

    8. If there is any mismatch and an edit is required, click Edit.

    9. You can either edit any existing entry or insert a new Timecard entry.

    10. Once done, click Save.

    11. All the updated entries are highlighted in yellow under the Entries section on the main page, review and click Save.

    12. These edits are now sent to the Driver for approval.

    Note: Fleets can suggest edits to Submitted Timecards only. If there is no edit option, please check the status of the Timecard and reach out to the Driver to submit their Timecard.
