Auto-decline Vehicle and Spend Location Mismatch

    Introduction

    Enabling the Auto-decline feature prevents transactions from being processed when the vehicle location doesn't match the spend location, automatically declining them. This feature helps safeguard fleets by blocking potentially fraudulent transactions when using the Motive Card.

    • What’s New?
      • Fleets can now automatically decline transactions when there’s a mismatch between the vehicle and the spend location at the time of the transaction.
    • How does this feature help users?
      • Fleet Admins can activate this feature by navigating to Card Settings in the Fleet Admin Dashboard. Once enabled, it applies to all cards and fuel transactions.
      • Fleet Managers can also selectively disable security settings for specific cards through the Card Management page.
      • Additionally, Fleet Managers in the Security and Fraud email group receive email alerts for declined transactions.
      • Declined transactions appear on the Transactions page with details on vehicle and merchant locations. Also, there are quick actions to review, freeze, or disable security settings for specific cards.
