This change is already available for customers on the Motive Fleet Dashboard.
Introduction
Motive has now introduced two separate permissions for the Video Request process that enables Fleets to segregate user permissions to only viewing or to both requesting and viewing the recorded videos. Previously, Motive Fleet Admins could only find a single permission around the video request process. This permission was tied to both requesting new videos, and viewing previously requested video footage.

What’s New?
Fleet Admins now get two separate permissions under Safety on Video Request workflow on Fleet Dashboard:

- View Requested Videos: Fleets assigned this permission can view requested videos only (not able to request new videos)
- Request Videos: Fleets assigned this permission can request new videos, while being able to view requested videos.

How does this feature help users?
This feature allows for more granularity of control for Fleet Admins, who try to limit unnecessary video requests from vehicle dashcams by users.
