Introduction
Motive now supports SMS and WhatsApp alerts for internal recipients, providing fleets with greater flexibility and reliability in critical communication. These additions enhance our alert system, enabling the timely and seamless delivery of information across multiple channels.
What’s New?
We’ve added SMS and WhatsApp as new alert delivery methods for internal recipients. Previously, Motive supported alerts via email, in-app notifications, and SMS for external recipients only.
- SMS alerts are now available for internal users, eliminating the need to manually enter phone numbers under External Recipients.
- WhatsApp alerts provide fleets with a highly convenient and widely used communication channel, enabling seamless alert delivery for teams that rely on WhatsApp in their daily operations.
How does this help our customers?
- These updates significantly simplify and strengthen fleet communication, ensuring prompt receipt of critical alerts even when users are outside the Motive App or have in-app notifications disabled.
- This eliminates manual configuration for internal teams and seamlessly supports real-world fleet workflows, increasing efficiency and reliability in time-sensitive situations.
