Introduction
Motive’s new Safety/Speeding v2 system transitions our speeding alerts to a real-time event detection and alerting system. This enhancement provides fleets with immediate visibility and actionability, bolstering our comprehensive suite of safety features.
What’s New?
We have upgraded our speeding alert system to provide real-time alerts powered by our new Speeding v2 algorithm. This change moves us from post-trip event creation to a real-time system, ensuring you are notified of speeding incidents as they happen. We have also standardized our alert triggers, replacing complex custom email configurations with a simplified system based on severity. This new system offers flexible notification scheduling, real-time severity tagging, and time range triggers for alerts.

- Enabling Immediate Action: Real-time alerts allow fleet managers to intervene immediately when risky driving behavior occurs, helping to prevent accidents, reduce liability, and improve overall fleet safety scores.
