Introduction
The Motive Safety Event List & Details Refresh is a foundational update designed to streamline the review of safety events, enable smarter coaching, and provide richer insights for fleet managers.
What’s new?
- Video Playback Speed Control: Adjust video playback from 0.5× to 2× on all Motive video players. This helps reviewers quickly scan routine footage or slow down key moments for deeper analysis, improving both accuracy and review efficiency.
- Expanded Telematics Insights: Access additional real-time signals directly within Event Details, including Acceleration, Brake, RPM, Seat Belt, Turn Signal, and Cruise Control. These insights provide deeper context for identifying the root causes of unsafe behaviors and strengthening coaching conversations.
- Full Video Request & Trip Context: Request additional footage before or after the recorded clip directly from Event Details. All requests include a full audit trail and inline access to recalled videos. An enhanced trip map shows related events along the route, making it easier to understand what occurred before or after the incident.
