Introduction
We've updated the default settings for engine-off recording and trip image capture to optimize data usage, reduce costs, and standardize configurations across our platform.
What’s New?
We are adjusting two configurable camera settings to better align with customer needs and reduce unnecessary image upload costs.
- Engine-Off Recording Duration: For heavy-duty vehicles, the default engine-off recording duration is changing from 24 hours to 12 hours. This also applies to light-duty vehicles if their setting was 24 hours or more.
- Trip Image Capture Frequency: Default frequencies for in-motion trip image capture are now standardized by customer fleet segment. This ensures the frequency aligns with typical usage in each market segment.
