AI Coach Group Enablement

Introduction

Large fleets often organize drivers into groups with different needs and risk profiles. AI Coach now supports that flexibility, giving fleet managers more control over how they introduce and manage AI-driven coaching across their organization.

With AI Coach group enablement, fleets can choose to activate AI Coach for specific driver groups or the entire fleet. This makes it simple to tailor the experience to each segment and ensure the right drivers receive relevant, personalized feedback. This also makes it easier to trial AI Coach with a smaller set of drivers, demonstrate impact, and then scale with confidence across the wider fleet.

What’s New?

AI Coach now supports group-level enablement, giving fleets more control over how coaching is introduced and managed across their drivers. This flexibility lets teams turn AI Coach on for all drivers across the fleet, or targeted driver groups.

Key Improvements:

  • Flexible enablement options: Choose how AI Coach is enabled by selecting either all drivers across the company or specific groups when turning on AI Coach. You can do this from the admin settings.
  • Group selection modal: Use the group picker to choose exactly which driver groups receive AI Coach recaps so you can focus on the right drivers and expand at the pace that works best for your fleet.
  • Auto-limit AI Coaching: Only drivers in enabled groups will receive AI Coach videos, so weekly recaps go only to eligible drivers.
  • Coverage for multi‑group drivers: If a driver belongs to more than one group, they will still get AI Coach recaps as long as at least one of their groups has AI Coach turned on.
  • Enhanced visibility: You can quickly see in the AI Coach view whether it is turned on for every driver or only for certain groups.

How does this help our customers?

The AI Coach enablement by group feature strengthens adoption, control, and alignment of AI coaching within the fleet structure.

  • Aligns coaching with operational reality: Fleets can configure AI Coach around how they already segment drivers by geography, customer, contract, or risk level, so coaching mirrors real‑world structures.
  • Supports focused group rollout: Fleets can start with specific driver groups (such as certain regions, terminals, or business units), refine their approach, and then expand with confidence to more drivers.
  • Enables scalable, personalized coaching: Group-based enablement lets fleets grow AI Coach usage at their own pace while still delivering personalized, AI‑generated feedback to the drivers who need it most.
  • Makes pilots straightforward: Fleets can try out AI Coach with a small set of driver groups, validate results, and then roll it out more broadly with clear proof of value.
