What do the AI Dashcam LEDs mean?

    First-Time Activation/ Welcome Message:

    When the camera is activated for the first time, a white LED blinks with the voice prompt “AI Dashcam Activated”.

     

    Disconnected Dashcam:

    When the AI Dashcam is not connected to the Vehicle Gateway via USB cable, the LED will blink in violet/purple with the voice alert saying “Dashcam disconnected. Please check the cables.”

     

    Speeding (policy mandate):

    When the vehicle is driving beyond policy-mandated speed, a red LED flashes with the voice prompt “Slow down. Company speed limit exceeded.”

     

    Unidentified Trips:

    When an unidentified trip is detected, a yellow LED flashes with the voice prompt “Please connect to your vehicle in the Driver App.”

     

    Motion Driver Performance Events (DPEs):

    When hard brake, cornering, and acceleration is detected, a red LED flashes with the voice prompt “Harsh event detected.”

     

    Close Following:

    When the Driver is closely following another vehicle, a red LED blinks with the voice prompt “Please keep your distance.”
    The LED will continue to blink until the vehicle has stopped close following.

     

    Driver Distraction:

    When the Driver is distracted such as using a phone, smoking, or being unfocused on the road, it triggers the red LED to flash with a voice prompt “Please keep your eyes on the road”.
    This LED will continue to blink until the Driver is no longer distracted.
