How to become a Motive Ambassador?

You might have already received an email from Motive with your unique referral code; if you haven’t, follow the steps below to become a Motive Ambassador:

1. Sign up by visiting https://gomotive.com/refer and fill the form at the bottom of the page.

2. In a few minutes, you will receive an email from Motive with your temporary password and personal referral link. If you don’t receive an email, you might already have an account; go to our Referral Portal and click on Reset Password.

3. Login to our Referral Portal with the email you used to sign up in step 1 and use the temporary password provided.

4. Share your unique referral link or short code with friends and family who want to sign up with Motive.

5. Using your unique referral link, your invitees can request an order placement with the Order Now option or request a Demo to learn more about Motive.

6. If your invitees want to place an order over the phone, they can reach our sales team at 844-326-5218. Tell your invitees to mention your unique code so we know you sent them to us.

7. When your invitee becomes a Motive customer, you will both receive a gift card via email.

Q1: Do I need to be a Motive customer to refer people to the program?

No. Anyone is eligible to participate in the program as a referrer (the person who tells others about Motive).

Q2: How can I share my referral code with my trucker friends?

There are many ways:

• Login to your Motive Fleet Dashboard and click on 'Earn Cash' located on the left side menu. Follow the steps to send emails to your friends with your unique referring code.
• Login to your Motive Driver App and click on the menu icon from the top left, head over to 'Earn Cash' and follow the steps to send emails to your friends with your unique referring code.
• You can log in to the Motive Referral Portal and send an email to your friends with your unique referring code.
• You can also copy and paste your URL referral code onto your social media channels, website, or send it to your friends through text message or email.

Q3: Is there a time limit for someone to use my referral code?

Once your friend uses your tracking code to sign up for Motive, they have 30 days to complete the purchase of a Vehicle Gateway in order for you to get a referral bonus.

Q4: How are rewards paid out?

Your reward is given to you in the form of a Digital Prepaid Visa Card, which you can redeem anywhere online!

Q5: Is there a limit to how many rewards I can earn?

No. As long as each friend is new to Motive and part of a different organization than an existing Motive customer, there is no limit! The more you refer, the more you will earn! Also, there is no such policy where the referred company has to complete any tenure period with Motive in order for the referral bonus.

Q6: How much do I get paid for a referral?

You and your friend both get paid when your friend signs up as a customer with Motive using your referral code.

Q7: Why did I receive an email from Motive?

When you sign up to become a Motive ambassador, we use this email address to send you an email with your login details and referral code.
