Symptom(s): Vehicle profile shows Invalid VIN
Adding a VIN number for the vehicle profile shows a pop-up stating an Invalid VIN error.
Cause
This happens because the VIN you are trying to create is not according to the guidelines.
Solution
1. Click on the VIN Decoder under the VIN.
2. In the VIN Decoder opened in the new tab, enter the VIN.
3. Enter the Model Year of the vehicle.
4. Click on the Decode VIN button.
5. Correct the number with the help of the guidelines provided and add in the Vehicle profile.
6. Click on the Save button to save the profile.
