This article explains how to locate, review, and manage safety events on the Fleet Dashboard. It covers how to navigate the Events list, preview and review media, access detailed telemetry, request additional video, use coaching workflows, and monitor driver safety behaviour.

- Safety → Requests
Additional footage requested is available for viewing & download in the Safety → Requests tab, where videos can be downloaded in:

Taking notes and updating status
Coaching and follow-up actions can be managed in both Quick View and Event Details.
Users can:
- Mark an event as Coachable, Coached, or Dismissed
- Add internal notes for coaches or admins

Using custom tags
Custom Safety Event Tags let you apply business-specific labels to safety events for better categorisation, filtering, and reporting. Tags are created by admins and appear across the Safety platform.
To apply a custom tag to an event:
- Open the event detail page.
- Under the Custom Tags section, click + Tags.
- Select one or more tags from the dropdown.
Applied tags appear in the event row on the Events List, in the quick-view pop-up, and on the full event detail page. Tags can also be applied during a coaching session.
To filter events by tag, go to Safety > Events and use the Behaviour filter.
For full details on creating, managing, and reporting on custom tags, see Custom Safety Event Tags.
Safety Event Risk Categories
Safety Event Risk Categories have been removed from the platform. This affects:
- Event filtering: Risk Category filters are no longer available on the Events Listing Page.
- Safety > Drivers page: columns now reflect the same actionable metrics shown in individual driver safety profiles.
- Coaching tab: the core risk behaviour filter and category panel have been removed. The Behaviours filter now includes custom tags where applicable.
