Introduction
Transactions are flagged as Fuel type mismatch when the fuel type purchased doesn't align with the vehicle's designated fuel type. Filling a vehicle with the incorrect fuel type is often a strong indicator of potential fraud.
How Fuel type mismatch helps you
- It prevents fraud by flagging transactions where the fuel type doesn't match the vehicle, helping identify and stop fraudulent activities.
- It saves costs by avoiding unnecessary expenses from incorrect fueling, which could lead to vehicle damage and costly repairs.
- It enhances monitoring by providing Fleet Managers with real-time alerts, enabling quick action on suspicious transactions.
- It improves accountability by ensuring Drivers follow proper fuel requirements for their vehicles.
- It simplifies tracking and managing fuel purchases with detailed transaction logs across the fleet.
