    Introduction

The new update allows Fleet Managers to add remarks, 16-hour exceptions, and adverse driving exceptions to unsigned Driver logs. Although the Edit button is now available for unsigned logs, editing or inserting duty status entries and viewing the log form remains restricted until the Driver signs the log, in compliance with FMCSA regulations.

    Overview

    • What’s New?

      • This feature is aligned with FMCSA regulations, ensuring necessary updates to logs can be made, even if they’re uncertified. However, editing duty status entries or viewing the log form remains restricted until the Driver signs the log, ensuring compliance and data accuracy.
    • How does this feature help users?

      • It enables the Fleet Manager to add essential Exceptions (16-hour and adverse conditions) and Remarks to unsigned logs, improving workflow efficiency.
      • Fleet Managers no longer need to wait for Driver certification to update logs, which helps keep records accurate and up to date.
      • With a lot of Drivers in the system, this update addresses a significant blocker for managers who previously couldn’t manage logs without Driver signatures.
      • The feature supports FMCSA compliance while allowing fleets to handle exceptions in real time, making fleet management more efficient.
