Introduction
This integration enables the automatic reporting of defects found during pre-trip and post-trip DVIRs. Requests for service for DVIR defects are sent automatically from your telematics platform to Penske’s maintenance system through Motive’s real-time API. As defects are resolved, the resolution status is communicated back to your telematics platform with detailed mechanic notes. Information such as repair shop location, repair notes, and contact details are available.

1. Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Marketplace.
2. Search Penske eDVIR integration in the search bar.
3. Locate Penske eDVIR integration and click Learn More.
4. Click Install.
5. An email is sent automatically with your information to our API support team.
6. Our API support creates an API key and provides instructions on how you can view it on your dashboard.
7. Share that API key with your Penske point of contact to proceed further.
