How to enable Fleetio Manage integration

Introduction

Effortlessly connect Motive devices with Fleetio to streamline your fleet maintenance operations, whether managed in-house or through third-party providers. For customers integrating Motive and Fleetio, we’ve added two new settings to automate fuel transactions from your Motive Cards and resolve DVIR defects in Motive when those issues are resolved in Fleetio.

When these features are enabled, they'll allow you to:

Close the loop on maintenance—automatically
- When a maintenance issue generated from a Motive DVIR is resolved in Fleetio, the corresponding DVIR defect is closed in Motive, mirroring inspection statuses across both systems, reducing compliance risk, minimizing downtime and keeping drivers, mechanics, and managers in sync.
See the true cost of running your fleet
- Create fuel entries automatically for every Motive fuel card transaction helping to centralize fuel tracking and reporting alongside your other maintenance costs per asset, giving you a single source of truth for budgeting, forecasting, and total cost of ownership.
Improve operational visibility
- Give your team instant access to the maintenance and fuel data they need to communicate fleet needs across teams and keep clean and accurate records for compliance reporting.

The Motive integration is available on all plans.

Note: The Motive Card integration will only sync fuel transactions and Two-Way DVIR Defect Resolution is only available on Premium plans.
