Jobber integration with Motive

Jobber is a cloud-based field service management platform for home and commercial service businesses, such as landscaping, HVAC, plumbing, cleaning, roofing, and electrical companies, across more than 50 industries.

It brings the whole job lifecycle into one app: quoting, online booking requests, scheduling and dispatching with a drag-and-drop calendar, job tracking and field documentation, invoicing, and payments through built-in credit card processing.

The Motive-Jobber integration connects Motive's fleet management and telematics platform with Jobber's field service management software, so service businesses can manage their crews and vehicles without re-entering data in two systems. Drivers and vehicles sync between the platforms, keeping team and asset records consistent, while Motive sends real-time GPS location data into Jobber.

Key Benefits

  • No duplicate entries: Drivers and vehicles sync between systems consistently, so admins don't have to maintain the same roster and asset list in both Motive and Jobber.

  • Consistent records: Updates to drivers or vehicles stay aligned across platforms, reducing errors from mismatched names, assignments, or vehicle details.

  • Live crew visibility: Real-time GPS data from Motive gives dispatchers a current view of where vehicles are while they work in Jobber.

  • More accurate arrival estimates: Live location helps office staff give customers realistic ETAs and reschedule proactively when a crew runs late.

Requirements

  • Credentials: Valid Client ID and Client Secret for the Jobber platform to be provided by customer
