Introduction
Motive AI Coach recaps via webhook enables fleets to deliver weekly coaching videos through their own systems, such as in‑cab tablets, internal driver apps, or portals, instead of only through the Motive Driver App. This gives fleets greater flexibility, especially those that are tablet-first, use third-party driver tools, or have strict device policies, while still benefiting from Motive’s powerful AI coaching.
What’s New?
Motive AI Coach weekly recap videos can now be delivered via webhook, which enables fleets to use their own systems for AI coaching along with the Motive Driver App.
- Third-party delivery channels support: WFM subscribers can now integrate AI Coach recaps directly into their own tools such as in-cab tablets or driver apps by using the webhook to present recap videos within their existing workflows.
- New AI Coach recap webhook: Fleets set up a new AI Coach webhook event that triggers whenever a weekly recap video is created for a driver. Once enabled, Motive automatically sends a notification to the customer’s chosen endpoint whenever a new recap is ready.
- Ready‑to‑use recap details: Fleet managers can quickly access all the information needed to deliver each recap to the correct driver, including who it’s for, when it was generated, which week it covers, and secure links to view or download the video before it expires.
- Coaching status updates: When a driver finishes a recap in another system, it automatically notifies Motive to mark the recap as reviewed. This keeps all coaching data and reports up to date, even when drivers use tools outside the Motive apps.
- Seamless integration: The webhook uses the same AI Coach recap system fleets already rely on, working smoothly with existing features like weekly recaps, auto-coaching, and engagement reporting.
