Driver Qualification MVR Activity Alerts

Introduction

Driver Qualification MVR activity alerts help fleets proactively monitor driver risk by notifying teams when newly imported Motor Vehicle Records (MVRs) indicate violations or potential compliance issues. This allows safety and compliance teams to quickly review records and take action when new risks are identified.

What’s New?

Fleet admins and managers can create alerts that notify them when newly imported MVRs contain violations or indicate potential compliance issues

  • Configurable triggers: Fleets can choose whether alerts are triggered when MVRs show Activity, Exception, or both.
    • Activity: Notify teams when a driver has a valid license but one or more violations.
    • Exception: Notify teams when an MVR indicates multiple minor or major violations or suspension.
  • Direct access to records: Clicking the alert from the Notification Center or email takes users directly to the relevant MVR on the Qualifications page so they can immediately review the record and take follow-up action.
  • Integrated DQ workflow: This release builds on Integrated MVRs and existing Driver Qualification workflows, so fleets can order, review, and monitor MVRs without changing how records are requested.
  • Targeted alert audiences: The MVR activity alert uses existing alert components to let you determine which drivers or groups are monitored and which admins or roles receive the notification, so only the right teams are alerted about MVR issues.

How does this help our customers?

  • Faster response to driver risk: Alerts surface MVR violations as soon as they are reported, enabling safety and compliance teams to quickly review issues and take action.
  • Reduced manual monitoring: Eliminates the need to repeatedly scan newly returned MVRs for issues, cutting down on time spent reviewing records and reducing the risk of missed exceptions or expiring credentials.
  • Improved compliance: Helps fleets keep only qualified, licensed drivers in service by highlighting missing or expired licenses and Medical Examiner’s Certificates tied to MVR results, supporting a clearer audit trail of who was notified and when.
  • Streamlined qualification workflows: Keeps risk detection, document review, and follow-up in one place (Qualifications page) so teams can manage Driver Qualification Files (DQFs) more efficiently within the existing Workforce Management experience.
