Introduction
Reefer OEM-AG Merge unifies Thermo King, Carrier, and Motive Asset Gateway reefer data into a single asset profile in the Motive Fleet Dashboard, eliminating duplicate reefer assets and simplifying reefer monitoring across mixed-OEM fleets. This enhancement improves Motive’s Reefer and Equipment Monitoring by integrating OEM telematics feeds as data sources within Motive assets.
What’s New?
- Single asset for OEM and AG data: Thermo King, Carrier, and Asset Gateway data will now be added to one reefer asset instead of separate OEM entities with OEM APIs attached as data sources to Motive assets.
- Assign OEM devices from the Asset page: A new Integration section on the Create/Edit Asset screens lets fleet admins see unassigned Thermo King and Carrier OEM devices, assign a reefer integration to an asset, and remove it when needed.
- Bulk attach and asset creation: Updated CSV import flows allow admins to automatically create new Motive assets in bulk with attached OEM devices or bulk-attach OEM devices to existing assets, with clear success and failure counts for each import.
- Unified data: Fleet View, admin asset lists, and asset profile pages now surface combined data sources (for example, Asset Gateway, Thermo King API, and Carrier API) and display OEM temperature and status data alongside Motive sensor data for each asset.

This integration significantly enhances visibility into reefer performance, enabling fleets to prevent spoilage, investigate excursions, and generate audit-ready cold-chain reports.
