Introduction
Transaction Decline Alerts helps large fleets get decline notifications to the right manager - instead of spamming broad admin roles - so teams can resolve issues faster and reduce alert fatigue. Admins can now route decline alerts by group, recipient, channel, and decline reason from the Alerts platform.
What’s new?
- Group-scoped alerts: Alerts are now scoped to specific cardholder groups, ensuring notifications only go to the relevant fleet managers with appropriate permissions.
- Advanced decline filtering: Admins can filter alerts using 6 distinct decline reason categories to minimize confusions relevant to alerts.
- Multi-channel delivery: Receive real-time alerts via Email, SMS, WhatsApp, or the notification center.
- Flexible delivery options: Choose between immediate or scheduled (batched) delivery to fit the required operational workflow.
- External recipient support: Option to notify email addresses outside of Motive.
How does this help our customers?
- Accelerates time-to-action: Ensuring the appropriate fleet manager is notified immediately when a decline occurs allows them to resolve the issue in real-time, preventing drivers from being stranded.
- Improves accountability: Group-scoped routing creates clear ownership for every transaction decline, making it easier for fleets to track, manage, and resolve issues effectively.
| Note: Decline alerts related to the "Card not activated" reason for unassigned cards will be routed to fleet managers in the email preferences section on Fleet Dashboard. |
