Paychex Integration with Motive

The Motive–Paychex integration streamlines payroll for fleet-based businesses by syncing driver hours-of-service (HOS) logs and time cards from Motive’s ELD and telematics platform to Paychex’s payroll and HR system.

Paychex Flex provides payroll, HR, benefits, and time and attendance capabilities. With the integration, fleet managers can use a consistent dataset for operational compliance and payroll while reducing manual time-entry work.

Requirements

  • Credentials: A valid Client ID and Client Secret for the Paychex platform must be provided by the customer.

Integration steps in Motive

This integration is powered by API Keys.

Note: Click the Install button on the Paychex's app on the Motive marketplace.

If you are on the Motive Fleet dashboard, take the following steps:

  1. On the left-menu, click Marketplace.
  2. Search for Paychex in the search bar.

  3. Click Learn More on the Paychex tile from the search results.

  4. Click Install.

    Our support team will receive a case and reach out to you to confirm the creation of an API key. 
  5. Share the API key with your POC from Paychex.
