AI Coach Multi-Locale Support

Introduction

Weekly AI Coach videos are now delivered in each driver's preferred language. This helps multilingual fleets provide feedback to drivers in languages they can easily understand and act on.

Note: AI Coach supports English (US), English (UK), and Español. Canadian French (CA-fr) is planned for a future launch.

What’s New?

  • Per-driver coaching language: AI Coach now delivers each weekly recap video in the driver's preferred language, not in the one language set for the whole fleet.
  • Automatic language selection: AI Coach chooses the video language per driver using the driver’s language preference. If no preference is set, the recap uses the fleet’s country or market default language.
  • Mixed-language fleet support: Drivers in the same fleet can receive coaching videos in different languages automatically. For example, some drivers can receive coaching in English (US), while others receive it in Español.
  • Localized coach previews: Fleet admins can switch between supported languages in the AI Coach preview to watch a coach’s preview video in the selected language.
  • Standard and custom coach coverage: Standard and custom AI Coaches are generated in all three supported locales, so fleets can continue using their existing coach assignments while drivers receive localized coaching.
  • Driver language setup: Drivers can set their own language in the Driver App. Admins can also set it for them from the driver's profile in Fleet Dashboard Settings, via bulk import, or through the Public API.

How does this help our customers?

  • Localized coaching: Drivers get coaching in the language they speak, so the feedback is easier to follow and act on.
  • Improved engagement: Coaching in a driver's own language is more relevant, which should improve review rates among multilingual drivers.
  • Support for multilingual fleets: Fleets with English-speaking and Spanish-speaking drivers can coach everyone together in their preferred language, instead of being limited to a single default language.
