Introduction
With the Driver Coaching Effectiveness report, track the effectiveness of coaching at reducing repeat unsafe behaviors.
Steps : Viewing the Driver Coaching Effectiveness report
1. Login to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click on Reports.
2. Click on the Safety tab in the Browse section and then select Driver Coaching Effectiveness.
3. Filter the reports by date range, driver, behavior, and group.
4. The Driver Coaching Effectiveness report surfaces the following information:
Miles Driven |
Miles driven within a time period |
DRIVE Score |
DRIVE score as of the last date in time period selected |
DRIVE Score Range |
DRIVE score range based on the DRIVE score as of the last date in the time period selected |
Unique Behaviors |
Count of total unique behaviors generated within the time period selected |
Total Behaviors |
Total count of unsafe behaviors detected within the time period selected |
Coachable Behaviors |
List of coachable behaviors within the time period. This comes from events placed in coachable or coached status during the time period selected |
Coached Behaviors |
List of behaviors coached within the time period. This comes from events placed in the coached status during the time period selected |
Coaching sessions completed |
Count of coaching sessions completed during the time period selected. You can start a coaching session in the “Coaching” section of the Safety Hub |

People who coached the driver |
Repeat Behaviors |
Behaviors that the driver exhibited in this time period and the previous time period |
% Repeat Behaviors |
Percentage of coachable behaviors that were repeated behaviors |
New Behaviors |
New behaviors exhibited by the driver in this time period that were not present in the previous time period |
Avg turn around period |
Average time from when a driver is identified as coachable (event in coachable status) to when they were coached |
Coachable messages sent |
Count of coachable events the driver was sent for review during the time period selected |
Coachable events viewed |
Count of coachable videos viewed by the driver during the time period selected |
Total events viewed |
Count of total events viewed by the driver in their Driver App during the time period selected (can include non-coachable events) |
5. Click on Save.
6. In order to download the report, select Options on the right hand side and select Export as CSV.
