Introduction
Motive allows Fleet Managers to edit and assign a Vehicle Gateway for vehicles in their Fleet. Follow the steps in this article to edit and assign the Vehicle Gateway to a vehicle.
Steps: Editing and assigning the Vehicle Gateway
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click Admin icon at the bottom left corner.
2. Locate Organization from the left-hand side menu.
3. Click Vehicles from the Organization's dropdown menu.
4. Select the Vehicle you wish to edit.
5. In the General section, click Edit. Make necessary edits as per your requirements.
6. Click Save after making the necessary edits.
7. To assign a Motive Vehicle Gateway, scroll to the Devices section and click Assign next to Vehicle Gateway.
8. Choose which Vehicle Gateway you want to assign to the vehicle. Each Vehicle Gateway has a unique serial number (S/N) printed on the bottom of the device.
9. Select the desired Vehicle Gateway.

10. Once done, click Assign.
11. Click Save.
