The Rewards feature in the Motive Driver App allows drivers to view all their completed, active, and upcoming challenges in one place. For every completed and active challenge, drivers can view its leaderboard and track their ranks, score breakdowns, and earned badges. This helps drivers understand exactly how their driving behaviour translates into points, rankings, and rewards.
| Note: This feature is currently only available to U.S. customers who have a paid or trial Workforce Management subscription. To get access to rewards in the Driver App, drivers must be part of a fleet with driver rewards enabled and have at least one challenge assigned to them. |
Overview
The Driver App rewards tab allows drivers to monitor leaderboards and their performance in every challenge.
Key features include:
- Challenge list: See all active and upcoming challenges you are added to, along with their names, dates, and goals, so you always know what you are working towards.
- Live leaderboard: Track your current rank in each challenge and see how your performance compares to other drivers in your fleet.
- Score breakdowns: View how each behaviour (such as speeding or hard acceleration) contributes to your total score so you understand which habits to improve.
- Badges and rewards: See badges you have earned and the rewards available for top ranks, giving you clear visibility into recognition and prizes.
Accessing rewards in the Motive Driver App
- From the Driver App home screen, tap the main menu.
- Tap Rewards.
- The Rewards screen displays a Rewards Shelf of all the driver’s earned badges and a list of all active and upcoming challenges.
- For every listed challenge, you can track the number of remaining days and the driver’s Current Rank and Pacing Points.
Viewing a challenge leaderboard and details
- From the Driver App home screen, go to main menu > Rewards.
- Tap any active challenge to see its leaderboard and details.
- The Leaderboard tab of an active challenge displays:
- A driver’s Current Rank and Pacing Points.
- Score breakdown by behaviour.
- The names of drivers at the top of the leaderboard with their rank and points.
- Prize Cut Line to show the ranks for which drivers will be offered prizes.
- Tap Details to see the challenge description, number of remaining days, and offered Rewards.
- Scroll down to see the Behaviours being monitored and the Points associated with each behaviour type.
- Scroll all the way down to see the number of Total possible points and a short description of How points work.
Viewing earned badges and rewards
- From the Driver App home screen, go to main menu > Rewards.
- Tap the arrow for Rewards Shelf.
- My Rewards screen displays a complete list of all your earned badges and rewards.
Viewing completed challenges
- From the Driver App home screen, tap the main menu.
- Go to Rewards > Completed Challenges.
- Tap any completed challenge from the list to see its results and details.
- The Results tab of a completed challenge displays:
- A driver’s rank (with the earned badge, where available)
- Final Points and points breakdown
- Reward description
- Scroll down to view the Final Leaderboard with the driver’s place in it.
- Tap Details to see the challenge description and Winners.
