Introduction
Motive has introduced a new feature to dismiss safety events if it shows inaccurate data.
Fleet Managers can dismiss a safety event at any time, effectively removing the event from the dashboard. Events dismissed within four weeks of an event being generated will not be factored into the driver's Safety Score. Events dismissed after this period will still be used to calculate their score.
Steps: Disputing a safety event from the Fleet Dashboard
1. Log into the Fleet Dashboard and select Safety from the main menu on the left.
2. Select the Events tab.
3. Choose the event you want to dismiss.
4. Click on Coaching Status dropdown and select Dismissed.
5. Choose from the options for dismissing the event.
6. Click on Dismiss.
7. If the reason is not mentioned, you can just select Other and write your reason before clicking Dismiss.
8. You will receive a notification saying Event successfully dismissed.
