Introduction
Fleets can now utilize Motive to enable the agriculture exception for ELD drivers. Enabling this exception allows drivers to set an agricultural source in the app, receiving proactive notifications to switch to the appropriate vehicle mode upon entering or exiting the 150 air miles radius from the source.
Furthermore, any duty status or trip recorded within this radius is automatically annotated, indicating the use of the agriculture exception.
Steps: Identifying trips recorded under Agriculture Exception using Fleet Dashboard
1. Log into Fleet Dashboard and click on the Trips tab on Fleet View.
2. Select Unregulated vehicles under the vehicle dropdown and filter the trips with notes.
Note: Unregulated trips do not appear on driver’s logs, it’s only visible to fleet admins to track the miles recorded under Agriculture Exception. |
