Answer:
No, Drowsiness AI can only detect excessive yawning and distraction events coupled with yawning. Motive is working on expanding the definition for detecting driver fatigue, which will be included in future AI model updates.
Question:
Can I customize the thresholds for Drowsiness in the Motive Fleet Dashboard like other AI behaviors?
Answer:
Yes. However, these requests to modify detection thresholds must be submitted through Motive Customer Support.
Question:
If only in-cab alerts are enabled, can I get events in the event list?
Answer:
No, in-cab alerts can’t trigger any events on the Fleet Dashboard.
Question:
If the Driver-facing lens is disabled for privacy reasons, can this still trigger Drowsiness AI events?
Answer:
No, video recording is disabled while in Driver privacy mode and can’t actively identify any Driver-facing behaviors.
