Introduction
In safety events, vehicles with Motive's dual-facing Dashcam capture both road-facing and driver-facing videos. The eye icon in the bottom ribbon of these videos is the Hide Driver Video option which helps fleets to hide the driver’s face or driver-facing view on these events. This helps address driver privacy in the scenarios where it needs to be ensured. For example, in collective gatherings or team meetings where the safety event videos are showcased.
Steps: hiding driver-facing video during safety events
1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click Fleet View from the left-hand menu.
2. Click Safety.
3. Click Events.
Note: When you select a safety event and play the violation video you can notice the anonymization icon or eye icon in the controls bar ribbon called Hide Driver Video. |
4. Click the eye icon to hide the driver-facing video from the picture-in-picture mode.
5. In side-by-side mode, click the eye icon to hide the driver-facing video from the screen.
