How to enable DataVoice integration

Introduction

For utilities, storms come in two’s. The first is the adverse weather that knocks fuses, lines, and transformers offline and forces utilities to scramble their workforces to fix them. The second is the whirlwind of calls utilities get when their customers want to know why the power is out and when they can expect it back on. 

The Integration with Motive Allows vehicle location to be displayed on the OMS map used by dispatchers to improve outage response and crew safety.

Requirements

Integration steps on Motive: 

Note: Click the Install button on the Motive standalone marketplace.
  • Log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Marketplace.
  • Search DataVoice in the search bar.
  • Locate DataVoice and click Learn More.
  • Click Install
  • Since the integration is built on API Keys, the integration involves the API support team to authenticate the installation and share a private API key.
  • This integration is set up from the DataVoice system. Contact Motive to get an API key.
  • Share the API Key with your DataVoice POC.
  • Further onboarding and mapping will be done on DataVoice’s end.
