Introduction
Motive is introducing AI-powered document capture for vehicle documents, enabling faster and automated intake of vehicle documents in the Fleet Dashboard. This update uses specialized AI to automate document intake so that fleets can digitally share vehicle compliance documents via the Driver App and proactively manage document expirations.
What’s New?
- Five new AI-powered vehicle document templates: Commercial Vehicle Registration, Apportioned Cab Card, Insurance Identification Card, Annual Inspection Report, and Permit.
- AI-powered information extraction: Fleet users upload an image or PDF and the AI automatically extracts key fields defined to the template and to match the document to the correct vehicle using the VIN, license plate, and/or unit number.
- Streamlined review: Required fields that are not confidently extracted are highlighted for quick manual validation. A thumbs up/down feature captures feedback so we can constantly improve.
