Integrated Training Content

Introduction

Integrated Training content gives fleets a ready-made library of Motive-created driver training modules so they can start assigning high-quality safety content without creating every course from scratch.

With short, mobile-friendly lessons delivered through the existing Workforce Management and Driver App experience, this launch helps fleets roll out training faster, improve driver engagement, and deliver more consistent safety education across their teams.

What’s New?

  • Training content library: From Performance Hub > Training, fleets can now access a library of Motive-supplied training content instead of relying only on their own uploaded content.
  • Driver safety content: The initial library gives fleets an immediate set of foundational safety lessons to assign. It includes driver safety training videos aligned with Motive’s following core safety behaviors:
    • Cell Phone Usage
    • Close Following
    • Stop Sign Violation
    • Seatbelt Safety
    • Speeding
    • Distracted Driving
    • Hard Cornering
    • Driver Fatigue
    • Unsafe Parking
  • Short, driver-friendly modules: The new training content is designed as practical microlearning sessions that take 5 minutes or less, featuring a consistent structure and integrated quizzes to help reinforce understanding and improve completion and retention.
  • Content library accessibility
    • For new Workforce Management subscribers, Motive-provided modules are added to the training library during setup.
    • For existing Workforce Management subscribers, the content library is refreshed over time to include Motive-provided modules, without changing modules that have already been assigned.
Note: The content library is designed to work with Motive's Automations feature, which includes an Assign training action that allows fleets to automatically assign training modules based on specific driver behavior triggers.

How does this help our customers?

  • Faster training rollout: Fleets can start assigning training right away without having to create every module from scratch.
  • Better driver engagement: Short, practical microlearning modules are easier for drivers to complete and retain than traditional long-form training videos.
  • More consistent safety training: A standardized content library helps fleets deliver repeatable safety training across distributed teams and close skill gaps faster.
  • Simplified training management: Fleets can use Motive-provided content alongside their own training content from one hub with centralized training assignment, completion tracking, and reporting.
