Sharing Wi-Fi hotspot password from the Fleet Dashboard

Fleet admins can access and share the Wi-Fi hotspot passwords with the drivers from the Fleet Dashboard bu following these steps. 

1. Log in to the Fleet Dashboard and click the Admin icon.

   

2. Click Vehicles.
3. Select a vehicle to share the Wi-Fi hotspot and click its three-dot menu. 

4. Select Edit Vehicle from the dropdown menu.

   Note: The selected vehicle must have a Cellular Vehicle Gateway associated with it.

   

5. Scroll down to the Vehicle Gateway section, and you can find the Wi-Fi hotspot password under Password.

6. Copy the password. 

   

7. Click Motive to go back to the dashboard home screen.

   

8. Click Messages.

9. Click the New Message icon and select Chat.

   

10. In the Drivers tab, search for the driver you wish to message by using the search bar or select the driver from the given list.

11. Check the box for the driver you want to select and click Start.

    

12. Paste the password in the message entry field at the bottom of the screen and click the Send icon to share the password with the designated driver.
