Applies To Fleet Dashboard > Admin > Company

Braking, accelerating, and cornering safety events are detected from the vehicle gateway. The threshold definitions determine which events are automatically uploaded to the Fleet Dashboard for your viewing.

Note: The configured definitions have no impact on the DRIVE score as it uses its own definitions. Learn more here.

Steps: Configuring braking, accelerating, and cornering safety event definitions

For all vehicles in the Fleet

    1. Log in to Motive Fleet Dashboard and click Admin in the left-hand-side menu.

    2. On the left-hand side menu, click Company to see your company settings.

    3. Click Edit Company Information.

    4. Motive defaults to the recommended value but you can move the sliders based on your risk tolerance. Setting your event threshold at a higher intensity will result in fewer events, and setting it at a lower intensity will result in more events surfacing in your Safety Hub.

    2. Click Vehicles in the left-hand side menu.
