Introduction
Fleet Managers can view generated events in the Safety Hub and coach Drivers based on their performance. Motive also automatically marks events as coachable based on their severity.
Steps: Viewing a safety event
Navigating to safety triggers
1. Log into the Fleet Dashboard and click Safety.
2. Select the Events tab.
3. Use the filter options to customize the list based on:
Date | Filter and select the date timelines. |
Driver | Search for the Driver's name directly. |
Vehicle | Select a vehicle to view their information. |
Severity |
Event severity helps Fleet Managers prioritize the safety event review process. Dropdown options:

Behavior | Safety behaviors like Close Following, Lane Cutoff, etc can be selected from the dropdown. |
Status | Clicking the dropdown gives us these options:

4. Click the Behaviour filter.
5. Select the trigger from the dropdown.
Viewing events
1. Events can have videos and images based on their severity.
2. You can click an event to view videos or images.
Note: Videos may not be available for certain events due to system settings, the event type, or storage limitations. In such cases, only images are shown to provide visual context. You can request video manually or configure the event type for automatic video recording if it is needed. |
