Managing and understanding your geofences is key to optimizing your fleet operations. Accessing detailed geofence information helps you track inventory, monitor activity, and make informed decisions.

Fleet View provides easy access to geofence details directly from the live map or search. You can quickly view geofence data, track inventory, and analyze reports to improve fleet operations.

Viewing geofence details
- In the Fleet Dashboard, go to Fleet View > Live.
- If you remember the geofence name, type it in the Search bar to find it.
To find geofences directly from the map view, click the layers icon on the map.
Select Geofences to display all geofences.
- Click any geofence icon to bring up a summary, including:
- Current inventory (vehicles and assets)
- Nearby entities
- Option to View Details for more information
Click View Details to access the full geofence details page.
Understanding the geofence details page
The geofence details page provides the following information:
- Geofence location and category: Displays the location and category of the geofence.
- Current inventory: A list of vehicles and assets inside the geofence.
- Visit statistics: Number of visits, total visit duration, and average visit duration in the past 7 days.
- Quick links: Links to related geofence reports.
Geofence date: Shows either the date the geofence was created or the most recent edit date, providing historical context based on the geofence’s activity.
Editing a geofence
- Log in to the Fleet dashboard and click the Admin icon.
Click Geofences.
Click the three-dot menu for the geofence you want to edit and select Edit geofence.
- To edit the geofence area, click on the vertex (dot) and drag to increase or decrease the area of the marked territory.
To undo and redo the drawn vertices, use the left and right arrows.
Change the shapes of the geofences or the radius of a circle geofence by clicking on the shapes at the bottom.
Once the area is selected, you can change the Name of the geofence and select a Category from the bottom of the screen.
The Details of the geofence can also be updated.
Once done, click Save Changes.
