Introduction
Fleet Admins can enable Engine-Off Vehicle Location mode for OBD-II vehicles with a connected Vehicle Gateway so it will send a GPS location breadcrumb every 12 hours after the engine is off. This updates the location in Fleet View when the GPS breadcrumb is sent.
Note: To enable this setting the Vehicle Gateway needs to be updated to firmware 79004 or above.
Steps: Enabling Engine-Off Vehicle Location
1. Log into the Fleet Dashboard and click on the Admin icon in the left-hand side menu.
2. Click on Company.
3. Click on Edit Company Information.
4. Under Fleet Settings switch the Engine-Off Vehicle Location mode to Yes.
5. Click on Save.
