Distraction events are detected by the Dashcams and can help Fleet Managers alert Drivers about their unsafe behavior. When the Drivers are distracted, the in-cab alert acts as a virtual coach to guide them. These settings can be enabled by the Fleet Admin in the Admin settings on the Fleet Dashboard.
Enabling the in-cab alert for distracted driving
1. Log into Fleet Dashboard and click on the Admin icon.
2. Click Safety from the menu on the left-hand side.
3. Click Unsafe Behavior Detection and Event Intelligence.
4. Click Edit.
5. Click on the checkbox of Distraction.
6. Click on the checkbox of in-cab alert
7. Click on the Save button at the top right corner.
