How to view imported assets from construction OEMs

Introduction

Motive allows you to connect your construction assets/equipment to the Motive dashboard with a click of a button. By connecting your construction Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) as assets, Motive can pull location history and engine hours from your equipment.

Steps: Viewing construction assets (OEM)

Viewing construction assets (OEM) from Fleet View

1. Once you have installed your OEM from the App Marketplace, log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard.

2. On Fleet View, click on the Map tab and then click on Filter.

3. Under the Entity section, select Assets.

4. Click on Apply.

5. Select your desired asset to view its data.

Note: You can hover over the cloud icon to see which OEM the asset is.

Viewing construction assets (OEM) from Assets

1. Once you have installed your OEM, log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard.

2. In Fleet View, click on the Assets tab.

3. Click on the All Sources dropdown menu to select your construction asset (OEM).

Note: In the Source column, you can see which OEM the asset is.

4. Select your desired asset to view its profile data.

5. To view the asset’s location history, click on the History tab.

Viewing construction assets (OEM) as an Admin

1. Once you have installed your OEM, log in to the Motive Fleet Dashboard.

2. Click on the Admin icon in the bottom left-hand corner.

3. Click on Assets from the left-hand side menu.

4. Click on the All Sources dropdown menu, and select the OEM of your asset.

5. Click on the ⋯ icon to Edit or View your construction asset (OEM) profile.
